Dear Fellow Patriots,

Now I would like to share with you a letter one of Front Sight's Armed Citizen Corps members (a building contractor by profession) received from the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office after he successfully apprehended an armed criminal.
This letter is a perfect example of the positive impact Front Sight's Armed Citizen Corps will have on every community across this great country of ours.
This letter is exactly what our friends in the law enforcement community can expect from Front Sight's Armed Citizen Corps.
This letter also demonstrates what every criminal will soon fear when Front Sight trains thousands of Armed Citizen Corps members each month to quietly go about their daily activities, armed with a concealed handgun and trained to levels that exceed the law enforcement community.

Here is the letter from the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office:
Dear Mr. White,
Please accept this letter of commendation and appreciation on behalf of the citizens of this county for your actions on September 19th. Your willingness to intervene was an act of selflessness and courage. You were not only exceptionally alert and clear thinking, but your decisive action was extraordinary. Because of your command and intimidating presence, a young man who was armed with a loaded firearm was quietly, safely, and effectively prevented from taking an automobile. More importantly, your actions prevented that young man from using that firearm in what could have been a tragedy of life altering dimensions. Had he been able to take that car and continue on his way with that firearm the potential harm to himself, citizens, and any law enforcement officers who may have encountered him was enormous.
As an aside, you should know that your testimony about the events that night and about the firearm in question was as able, informative, and as professional as any police officer I have seen.
No one in law enforcement today expects to see citizens act as you have. Frankly, given the physical risks, which you obviously appreciated and accepted, it may not be reasonable to expect our citizens to intervene as you did. I truly hope that you are never called upon to do anything like this in the future. You certainly have every right to say you've already done more than anyone could have expected. Thanks again for all you've done.
