Innocents Betrayed Progress Report
Dear JPFO Member,
Very soon you will have perhaps the most powerful weapon you've ever seen. Not a firearm this time, but our new documentary film, Innocents Betrayed.
This film truly wipes out all of the arguments for "gun control" - and destroys the credibility of "gun control" lobbyists. How? By shining the awful truth directly into the hearts and minds of viewers. By making the very idea of "gun control" seem not just stupid but sick and twisted.
Imagine what you can do with this film. Imagine how you can squelch the anti-gun ramblings of your neighbor, uncle or brother-in-law. How can they overcome the awesome power of visual proof?
Imagine how your school friend, wife, or mom will react when they see the pictures and film footage. How can their silliness about rare firearms accidents and trigger locks ever overcome the staggering human suffering of millions of disarmed and defenseless men, women and children?
The film is over 80% completed. We've had to ignore the doubters and nay-sayers. We've had to search hard for a high-quality production company willing to do the project. And, because the natural sources of historical photos and film footage sometimes flatly refused to provide the materials even at full price, we've had to work doubly hard to locate what was needed. Because of the resistance, the costs have been high.
We're going to finish Innocents Betrayed, and we're going to distribute it nationally. The stronger our funding, the better the final product and the wider the distribution.
Would you have signed the Declaration of Independence? Would you have helped finance the Revolutionary War? It might seem brash to compare Innocents Betrayed to those two great events, but we truly believe that finishing this project - and distributing the film widely - could dramatically affect national policy toward guns for the next century.
