Fight the UN with Facts

As we reported in our alert "UN Conference on Independence Day" ( http://www.jpfo.org/alert20060523.htm ), the UN begins its "Small Arms Review Conference" this week. The purpose of the conference? "... the implementation of a program to prevent, combat and eradicate the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons in all its aspects." ( http://www.un.org/events/smallarms2006/ )

In other words, they're coming for your guns...again.

With this in mind, JPFO is giving our supporters permission to show the JPFO films _Innocents Betrayed_ ( www.innocentsbetrayed.com) and _Bill of Rights or Bust_ (www.jpfo.org/your10rights) on your local television station for NO charge. If you have a copy of either of these films, take it to your local public access station and GET IT SHOWN! We're also open to groups renting local movie theaters to show the films for a fundraising or similar event (contact us at jpfo@jpfo.org) for more information on this). It's increasingly obvious that while people won't READ, they will WATCH. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then _Innocents Betrayed_ and _Bill of Rights or Bust_ are better than a whole library!

Now is the perfect time to show all those well-meaning but naive folks you know that the UN does NOT have their best interests at heart, that the UN will _take away_ their rights rather than protecting them, and that the confiscation of firearms from civilians can result in horrific consequences.
