Of Despots and Sheeple
Lynn Stuter writes a very perceptive article, looking at the seeming hell-bent intentions of those in power to try and further trash the Second Amendment and thus, the right (a right not given by government) to bear arms and the inate right to self defense. She goes on to remind us that not only -- "People who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it." but that the genocides of history were enabled by first disarming a populace.
"Laws are not made for criminals because criminals don't obey laws anyway. This makes it very apparent that restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens won't stop criminals from shooting up malls, churches, schools, theaters, etc." Do read this incisive piece and share it.
An extra item in today's alert - William J. Lawler II, M.Ed, has constructed a petition which is designed to provide the requirement for Military and sworn members of Law Enforcement to maintain a copy of The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of The United States of America on their person.
