A Long Island Horror Story
What the heck is happening in America?! It would seem that so called "zero tolerance" and its consequences, has gotten even more out of control. It is not now just a case of schools forbidding pictures of guns, with reprimands or even expulsion for the hapless offenders -- no, it now seems that we see an expansion to not only include sign language that just happens to seem gun-like, but also a pointed finger being treated as the "real thing", and even water pistols get included. Now however it has gone a step further beyond even this, and by all accounts not an isolated instance.
Location, Long Island New York. A father has been stripped of his firearms because of his son's apparent crossing of the line at school. So, not only is a child the recipient of disciplinary action but, the consequences are carried over in draconian fashion to the parent.
