Eric Holder has in essence issued a threatening ultimatum to Kansas Governor Sam Brownback, regarding as being unconstitutional that state's attempting to protect the Second Amendment. Is there a hint of pot and kettle regarding constitutional matters here? Is the Second Amendment so much an exclusive property of just the Feds?
"Holder denies that states have the right to withstand (nullification) federal tyranny and argues that the Constitution declares federal acts to be the "supreme law of the land." What the Supremacy Clause (Article VI of the Constitution) states is that the Constitution "and laws of the United States made in pursuance thereof" are the supreme law of the land. What Holder fails to appreciate is that the consent of the states created the Constitution and thus created the federal government. This is all analyzed within today's article in some depth.

Thought for the day -- "Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber ... but after a shooting, the problem is the Gun ! "
