Alamo Pro-Gun Rally Fights For Open Carry Rights,
Breaks Longstanding Tradition.

Last Saturday, October 19th, saw a well attended pro-gun rally outside of the famous Texas Alamo, despite in the past that having been a place traditionally without such events. Due to numbers attending, the Police Chief (wisely) chose not to enforce a local ordinance that would normally have prohibited such a display of open carry.
The "Come and Take It San Antonio!" rally was intended to draw attention to a right Texans already have -- to carry long arms publicly so long as they don't do it in a menacing manner. The event took place without incident and it was hoped that the vision of people with rifles could be one step towards making folks more comfortable with the sight.
Overall the rally seemed a great 2A success -->
