Kiss your gun goodbye?

Various gun magazines have covered this kind of subject, dealing with police handling of firearms incidents, but today's article not only describes what to expect after a self-defense shooting but, makes the point that the chances of having your (legal) firearm returned may be sometimes slim to none.
The message is 'expect these things to happen', but one case here is described where a mere witness, who reported, a shooting is arrested in the mistaken belief that there was an outstanding warrant. This was not the case but even so, the individual's rights were blown away and his gun confiscated plus jail time! The gun has yet to be retrieved.
This unfortunately is a pattern that can be too often seen these days - stay legal and fight fair but ... -->
